Blanca Torroba gained her PhD in developmental neuroscience from the University of Barcelona, followed by a three-year post-doctoral position at the University of Oxford focused on finding small molecules to modulate neurogenesis to treat Alzheimer's disease. Since joining Charles River in 2022, Dr. Torroba has been working on developing complex in vitro assays in the neuroscience field, as well as expanding our ASO discovery services to support the development of new therapies for neurodevelopmental disorders and neurodegenerative diseases.
