In her current role, Cheryl works directly with clients to guide them through recommendations for the screening of cell lines, tumors, and other research biologics for the presence of adventitious viruses and other infectious agents. She also advises and supports clients on the topic of modern health surveillance to incorporate sentinel-free sampling methods that are more compliant with the 3Rs and to contemporize infectious agent screening panels.
Cheryl received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Clark University and has over 35 years of experience within Charles River’s Diagnostic laboratory.
