Chris has been working in gene therapy for 6+ years. His educational background is in biochemistry and neuroscience from Michigan State University and Chris’ prior professional experience has included high throughput testing, general and CMC advising, and plasmid DNA/viral vector production. He started out as a research associate for plasmid production and helped to build the plasmid business, eventually leading both PD and GMP as associate director. Throughout his time in industry, he has helped to develop new processes, advise clients, plan complete laboratory moves, and mentor team members. Chris currently serves as director of Process Development and Research Services, working with his team to solve science and engineering problems related to viral vector scaleup and development.
