Scientist II, In Vitro Pharmacology

Ken is a Scientist II at Charles River Laboratories and has over 35 years of experience in drug discovery and contract research. He is currently working in the pharmacology group at Charles River Laboratories in Worcester where he is responsible for assay method development, performing quantitative biomarker measurements, as well as in vitro and ex vivo cellular assays that include cell proliferation, cell differentiation, and drug screens.

Before joining Charles River Laboratories in 2021, Ken worked in the research groups at Aquila Biopharmaceuticals (formerly Cambridge Biotech) and Sanofi/Genzyme as a Scientist I. During his time in research, Ken worked on infectious disease vaccine development, oncology models, rare diseases, immune modulation, transplant biology, and translational AAV gene therapy. Ken received his Bachelor of Science in biology from Worcester State University and has authorship on nine publications.
