Dr. Kourtney Nickerson is a senior scientist with more than ten years of experience in microbiology and molecular medicine. She leveraged a career in translational research to push the boundaries of diagnostic capabilities. In her current role, she works with investigators to discover emerging infectious agents and their impacts in different environments and educates the community on health monitoring and testing for specific agents. Dr. Nickerson has a PhD in molecular medicine from Case Western Reserve University and has been featured in several posters, presentations, and publications.
