Michael Shockley

Mike Shockley joined Charles River in 2021 as a study director in the In vitro ADME department in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he helps sponsors navigate traditional and complex drug candidates through IND-enabling studies. His 12 years of experience span the field of in vitro models for ADME/DMPK. Prior to CRL he was at Javelin Biotech developing and testing novel in vitro liver microfluidic systems, and at the MIT Tissue Chip Testing Center where he assessed and refined emerging in vitro liver, intestinal, kidney, and blood-brain barrier models for their robustness and industry readiness for translational DMPK.
