Bill Shek has been with Charles River for over 40 years and is currently responsible for the development and quality control of diagnostic assays for health surveillance and genetic monitoring, as well as the design, development, and implementation of systems to manage laboratory testing. He has a DVM, MSc, and PhD – all from Cornell University.
Dr. Shek holds memberships with the American Association of Laboratory Animal Science, the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Society of Microbiology, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and the Scientific Research Society of Sigma XI.
