Zsuzsanna Gáborik received a master’s degree in bioengineering from the University of Technology and Economics, Budapest. She earned her PhD in cellular and molecular physiology at the Semmelweis University, Budapest, and started her academic career at the Department of Physiology at the Semmelweis University, focusing on the molecular mechanism of GPCR activation and trafficking.
She joined SOLVO Biotechnology (acquired by Charles River in 2019) in 2011 and took over the operational management of the site’s Research and Development Laboratory in 2016. She is currently the Associate Director of Developmental Services, overseeing in vitro model and assay developments, collaborations, and specific customer projects. Assay systems developed by her team have been shaping in vitro transporter research for over a decade, and she has contributed to dozens of peer-reviewed scientific publications.
