What Can I Learn?
Standardized sample preparation can support the reproducibility of flow cytometry results. Particularly the emerging class of cell and gene therapies has reemphasized the need for streamlined and conclusive cell characterization methodologies, a need that has been acknowledged by the NIST Flow Cytometry Standards Consortium launched in 2020.
In this video the following key points were discussed:
- Preanalytical variables and challenges associated with biological samples intended for immunostaining
- Integrating automation tools to standardize single cell processing for flow cytometry
- Using Curiox Laminar Wash Technology to preserve original cell biology, while eliminating interfering debris as much as possible, especially for tumor microenvironment analyses
