Amit Chouhan gained his PhD in Neuroscience from the University of St Andrews/University of Edinburgh, and subsequently developed experience in neuroscience disease modeling & drug discovery at Leuven/VIB, the University of Cambridge, Metrion Biosciences, and WaveBreak Therapeutics. Since joining Charles River in 2023, Dr Chouhan has worked in the design and development of functional assays in disease linked models, utilizing MEA electrophysiology for compound screening, in vitro pharmacology, and toxicology studies.
