Equipped with a long-lasting xenon flash lamp light source, this instrument ensures consistent performance throughout its lifetime. Moreover, the single monochromator filter covers a wide range of UV wavelengths, from 200 nm to 999 nm, enhancing sample processing efficiency and minimizing downtime.
Self-test Reporting for Added Convenience
Each time the instrument is powered on, an on-board diagnostic self-test automatically runs, guaranteeing optimal functionality. Users can generate and print self-test reports within the EndoScan-V software for easy reference. The report highlights assay equivalency to our FDA-licensed kinetic LAL assay via our primary alternate method validation.

We are committed to providing clients with a simple upgrade process from the BioTek ELx808 Microplate Reader. A full equivalency study has been completed between ELx808 and PRS 3 for bacterial endotoxin testing using LAL and rCR reagents. Our technical support team qualified the instrument for compatibility with EndoScan-V software for bacterial endotoxin testing using LAL and rCR reagents. This service provides a smooth transition for replacing a BioTek microplate reader instrument for BET testing. Our onsite annual qualification of the instrument and software provides the assurance that it is operating correctly and fulfills the recommended preventative maintenance.
Agilent Technologies has discontinued the BioTek Incubating Microplate Reader Model ELx808. As we continue to partner with Agilent Technologies, they have guaranteed service support of the ELx808 through January 2029.
