Comprehensive Oncology Services in Freiburg
Founded in 1993 as Oncotest, a spin-off of the University of Freiburg, the site was acquired by Charles River in 2015 to enhance its oncology discovery capabilities. The Freiburg facility specializes in patient-derived xenograft studies and supports a wide range of in vitro and in vivo oncology research. With a dedicated team of approximately 100 professionals, including PhDs, DVMs, and MScs, the site maintains a strong focus on scientific excellence and humane animal care.
